Family Strengthening

IRRVA and NMWGP programs seeks to ensure that no New Mexico children go to bed hungry or become homeless.

 

IRRVA'S Family Strengthening strategies 

To ensure that all children are healthy, happy and connected socially, educationally and nurtured, IRRVA offers

  • Free music, story telling, theater training and other art related activities;
  • Free Read-to-Excel Program, from 0 to 18 years;
  • Free nutritional meals and snacks on Saturdays between 12.30 p.m. and 4.00 p.m;
  • participation with other local youth groups e.g. kids club at La Mesa Presbyterian church;
  • Free one on one tutoring;
  • Recreation;
  • Mentoring;
  • Train their parents in job skills training and search.
  • Rally community support to support children
  • Help youth find jobs.
 Artisans of New Mexico Women's Global Pathways selling their creations so as to place healthy food on their families tables.
